Losing Sucks!

But at least it will save the world. We will not finish in 1st place by the 21st. We are now 7 points behind the 1st Place Bass River Team, Due to our Loss to the Whining Protesting Willows Team.

World Still Hasn't Ended. Yet!

Well with only a month to go till the world possibly ends. The A1 team finds itself in a dangerous position of actually helping it happen.

 After finishing 2nd in the regular season standings last season. The team was dq'd a boatload of points. As a result we dropped to 4th, not 5th somehow and actually got to play in the Playoffs.  It didn't work out to well as injuries and other factors limited the availability of players and the team was forced to default a position and scrape together a team to head down to Winchester for the defeat.

But This year the Team is cooking and finds itself snugly in 2nd with only 3 matches to go till the end of the Mayan Calendar.  There was a prediction made a long time ago by one of the elder statesmen of the Team. That Prediction Stated that "If ever the Team was in First Place. The World was probably going to end."  It is possible that we could be in first place on the 21st of December.

Last Season before the World ends!

Ok here it is another season to finish in 5th place. If we do make the playoffs, or God Forbid finish in 1st place. The World will really end. So Play as if your Future depends on it. Cause it just Might.

First Win...

The second Term Captain gets his first win of the season today. Knowing that the Evil Willows were coming to town. Adam pulled out the winning combination to take down the defending playoff participants. A thrilling 3-2 Victory.. As long as you weren't on one of the even numbered courts. Just because the Red Sox can't beat the Evil Empire doesn't mean we can't.

2010 Isn't the end of the world.

But you wouldn't know that from this weeks loss. Week one did not go the way the script was written. A 4-1 Defeat from the powerhouse that is the lower Westford A1 team. To quickly sum up the Weekend..

Just like the Cowboys, and Vikings We will bounce back from our week 1 defeat.

Yep that's right.... The season is way over... and we didn't make the playoffs or 5th place... But that's ok... there is always next year..

The big news is that the Cedardale usta teams are doing well, The mixed teams are going to the sectionals. and The Mens teams are working their way there right now.


So I'll update a huge blog if we make nationals..

We Are now in 5th Place..

I wasn't there last week, But the word is that the team Swept Bass River and put us in 5th place.

We love 5th place. It's like Home. All warm and cozy and doesn't make us play in May!

Next week is a bye. Followed by 6 straight weeks of matches. So get your rest and heal up your injuries cause the push for the playoffs starts Next week..


Ok I mailed this one in.. I'm spending all my inspiration time playing video games and Watching Figure Skating!

Oh no... They stole our Can and Used it against us for the past two weeks.. Two weeks ago we lost a close one at home 3-2 and then this week we got it handed to us on all courts.

Ouch! That hurts.

With only 6 matches left our chances of making the Playoffs are not looking good. A Few sweeps of our own might help.
